Whitish Marzuolo Truffle: Tuber borchii Vitt , also known as Bianchetto (Whitish) truffle, differs from other truffle species mainly for its characteristic garlic smell and for its smaller size which ranges from that of a cherry to that of a walnut. Peridium is normally smooth and rounded, with color varying from white to ochre to even reddish in the oldest exemplars. Gleba is white-reddish with intense and extended white veins.
